Post When all this is over......

So after some thought I’m going to concentrate my forces for Infamy, Infamy on the Germans, I shall not now do the Gauls/Brits which means I have some metal and plenty of plastic sprues spare. If anyone fancies these then we can chat.

Also I have spare Victrix Greek sprues if anyone fancies A force for Mortal Gods. I was planning to expand this to a full 28mm army but I haven’t got the storage and big battles should = small soldiers. To that end I’m going to source a 10mm mat suitable for To The Strongest and order the start of the Persians, these should fight Danes Greeks and Indians nicely.

Hi guys, I am playing To The Strongest in both 28mm and 15mm unfortunately not 10mm, I have mats with grids for both scales.
I have dozens of armies in both scales and I have recently rebased or brought a few 28mm armies on 12cm bases for use with a 6” grid.
Anyone want a game post lockdown please let me know?
Best regards, John.

Hi John, I bought this rule set at Christmas and we were just about to give it a go before the lock down. But never got round to it. What size squares and table do you use for 15mm armies?

Hi Chris, probably better to email me direct especially to arrange a game in due course?
I have a 6 x 4 cloth with 10cm grid.
You can use a smaller playing area the standard points are 130 on a grid 12 long by 8 wide.
You need about 10 to 12 units.
28mm you could use Saga figures although ideally need a few more!
Best regards, John.

OK, my cloth is 12 squares by 8 squares but has 15mm squares. I guess that's OK as well. I think I can do 130 points of 100 year war 15mm figures. I'll create a list and check I have sufficient figures. I'm starting to paint a Roman army but that is a long, long way off. I'll send you a direct e-mail when I'm allowed to have friends again.

Regards
Chris.

Hi Chris, I don’t think they are 15mm? Do you mean 15cm or 6”?
These are big boxes for 15mm figures that would be six DBM style bases 3 wide x 2 deep a frontage of 12cm in a 15cm box.
My cloth is for four bases of DBM bases 2 x 2 with 8cm frontage in a 10cm box?
When you say 100 years do you have English and French?
Regards, John.

Hi Chris, my army is English too!
I can field a Spanish but, not French.
Have a look see if you can do 130 points with 4 bases or 6 bases to a unit and let me know?
Best regards, John.
